Beata Dirycz

Beata was born in Poland where she learned to knit and sew from her grandmothers. At age 7 her family moved to Germany and finally to Canada. She attended the International Academy of Design where she studied fashion. After working for other designers for a few years she decided to launch her own line. For the first four seasons her designs focused exclusively on knitwear in the form of bikinis, dresses and tops that explored an edgy and sexy side to knits. In 2006 she moved past knitwear and launched a full line incorporating many types of fabrics and introduced men’s designs. Her new line continues to push boundaries but also explores the humorous and fun side of fashion.
