Jenny's love for designing clothes blossomed in her teens. She studied fashion design at Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto. Shortly after she worked as an assistant designer, fashion illustrator and dance costume maker. In 2001 she returned to her hometown of Vancouver only to discover there weren’t many exciting companies to work for. Instead of giving up on her dream, she launched her own apparel company, J.Y. Star. Her goal is to produce clothing with superior fit and quality, styled with a modern, creative edge.
