Layers Squared

Third in a family of six kids, Summer's childhood home was always full of craft supplies. From an early age she began creating little treasures for birthday and holiday gifts and couldn't wait to see the expression on the face of the recipient while they examined her work. When she graduated from High School her mother bought her a sewing machine and that's when she became hooked. Nothing could surpass the rewarding feeling of designing an article of clothing that nobody else owned. After obtaining a degree in Fiber Arts at the University of Oregon, Summer created Layers Squared. The name represents her appreciation of artful clothes that can be layered up or peeled off to suit many occasions.
