Tabitha Savoie, brainchild of Togs Design, began her career in fashion design when she created a pair of fleece legwarmers dubbed, "Booties", for a New Years Eve Party. After receiving rave reviews from party goers she decided to start her own collective of clothing. Along with the "Booties", she silkscreened pre-manufactured t-shirts but soon became determined to build her designs from scratch. With each season Tabitha has expanded the line to include skirts, dresses, pants and jackets. A few years ago she expanded Togs to include plus sizes. She realized that not all women who want funky streetwear should have to fit the stick insect mold fed to us by the media. "All women, regardless of their size, color or whatever, deserve to wear cool clothes."
